Volunteer Opportinities

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic people of all ages to assist in Museum operations. Share your interest in arts and history and enjoy the opportunity to work in this unique environment. Front Desk Greeters Volunteers welcome visitors, track visitation numbers, and answer questions. They are goodwill ambassadors. Museum Store Assistants Volunteers are supervised by the Store Manager and aid in the daily operations of the Museum Store. Volunteers work with money transactions, monitor the store, and help maintain the appearance of the store and merchandise. Docent Docents are specially trained. Depending upon the interest of the volunteer, docents can lead adult groups, school groups, or both. Docents provide information about exhibits and the museum to visitors, as well as answering questions.
